The usual friendly reminder that we have less than a week until the end of the Expression Contest submission period! Turnout has been more limited than I was expecting, but hopefully people are waiting until the weekend to fully express all the wonderful TG ideas they have in caption form.

Expression Caption Contest
So in the spirit of the widely successfully start to 2019 with the Improvement Caption Contest, I have another special contest up...the Expression Caption Contest! This contest was inspired by a variety of expressive images and also the Great Tumblr Purge of 2018. Why was that ban on explicit content relevant to this theme? Because it limits expression, forcing captioners to change their content or migrate to another site where they may get lost in the shuffle or give up on captioning trying to find a new home. I came back this year in large part because I wanted to have a place where people know that their captions are welcome and even if a big site like Tumblr is giving them the boot, there is still smaller communities out there to support them. With that in mind, use this as an opportunity to express you own thoughts on Tumblr, other topics you've been thinking about, or enjoy the plethora of images to make a cap by the deadline will be Wednesday, February 6th. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
Guidelines
2. You all will take these images I have offered below and send either a completed caption (meaning image and text formatted together) or text with the image to go to it (I will put a cap together if you don't know how or would rather that I format it!) to starzcaptioncontests@gmail.com.
3. You may submit as many captions as you want. All captions must be TG or crossdressing in some format (F2F is not really a theme of this blog, but in case any of you wanted to try this, I would prefer that you didn't).
4. After the submission deadline, I will sort post all the captions that you sent me in a single post!
THEME: EXPRESSION - The main and simple focus for this contest is actually based on the pictures. There are dozens of unique and interesting expressions, from shocked to mindless, alluring to innocent, happy to upset. Your goal is to interpret the expression and decide how it plays into a story. Don't forget that expression can be in regards to faces or body posing as well! Alternatively, expression is about conveying an idea. Perhaps your story focuses on a transwoman finally getting to reveal their inner beauty, or a misogynistic man being turned into a bimbo to show that looks aren't everything, or maybe you want to "express" something about a recent social media site's decision to exclude captions like this. Whatever your heart desires, express it with words and images in the form of an awesome cap!
